Prism to manage regional postal network

Prism Services has secured a contract with Neopost, (www.neopost.com) the leading provider in Europe and second largest provider in the Americas of Digital Franking Machines (Postage Meters), to construct and manage the Neopost Digital Franking Machine Re-crediting Network for the Central American and Caribbean regions.
Across the globe, postal rates and revenue is electronically delivered and controlled by similar networks of Digital Franking Machines that print “stamp-like images” on the envelopes. The network will provide each Post Office in the region with a highly secure encrypted digital mechanism for securely capturing their revenue, and a means to transmit new products and services directly to their commercial customers, while providing each user with a simple, fast, efficient way to manage and utilize the Domestic and International Postal Services.
The Neopost range of Franking Machines will be sold exclusively via Output Solutions of Central America Ltd; (OSCA www.outputsolutionsca.com ) a prism subsidiary; through dealers in the various markets.
There is a wide range of franking machines available, from the small IJ40 for the smaller offices, to the larger IJ110 for the larger mail and fulfilment houses.

Prism manages a number of other financial networks across the region, including the Carifs network and automated clearing house in Barbados, and will manage this new digital postal network, which will need to be kept up around the clock, from its operations in Barbados, along with a real time offsite backup.
Discussions are currently ongoing with postal organizations across the region with the view of certification and entering the correct rates and structures for each market.
Prism Services (www.prismco.com) is a business to business outsourcing company, specializing in solutions for the payment systems, loyalty, mailing and document storage industries. Prism has offices in all major Caribbean geographies and now expands its presence into the Central American locations.
