Prism Wins Jamaica Chamber Company of the Year Award

Prism Wins Jamaica Chamber Company of the Year Award

Prism Services won the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce small category award last night in a lavish event at its annual awards ceremony held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston.

The awards celebrate local companies that have excelled in meeting their corporate goals and objectives over the last year, the JCC said in a statement.

The awards ceremony, now in its 31st year, features best of Chamber awards in three categories –large, medium and small sized businesses.
On hand to collect the award was Managing Director Edward Ince who was joined by his local management team of Andrea Clarke, Adrian Recas, Pierette Blake, Clive Christie and Doreen Morris-Thomas.  Ince, who was over-joyed with the award, indicated that their growth in Jamaica had been strong over the years.
Other winners were Seaprod in the large company category while Cari-Med won the medium category.

Last year’s winners were Digicel, Spanish Court Hotel and Jamaica Energy Partners in the respective categories

On the choice of this year’s nominees, JCC third vice-president Catherine Kennedy said that “as usual, choosing the winner was difficult but we feel we have a fantastic slate of nominees who are all very well deserving and all winners.”

The theme for this year's ceremony, 'The Next 50…year 1', was chosen by the JCC to symbolize the beginning of Jamaica’s journey towards another 50 years of independence.
